Summary: The Inventory Associate is responsible for cycle counting and all internal inventory movements between customers/bins.

Essential Job Duties

• Responsible for internal inventory movements.
• Ensure that all products are correctly identified with corresponding placard.
• Verify the accuracy of inventory by conducting detail audits of the product inventory on a regular basis.
• Monitors the movement of the inventory and identifies if there are any shortages that are seen when compared with the physical inventory data.
• Work in inventory systems.
• Run inventory reports as required.
• Ensure materials are in proper locations and communicates if there are any deviations.
• Helps to resolve or escalate any issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure that the warehouse area is clean and maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• Previous inventory/warehouse experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in computers - accurate data entry and keyboarding skills
• Self-motivated and should be able to work independently as well as a team member.
• Able to demonstrate good mathematical skills.
• High ethical standard.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Possess good organizational and multi-tasking skills.

• Ability to follow instruction to accomplish objectives.
• Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and regulations.
• Reliable attendance
• Forklift training or ability to be trained within 30 days.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• This is an active role requiring prolonged periods of standing and walking on the production floor.

• Repetitive motion of the hands and arms.
• Ability to frequently twist, reach, bend and stoop.
• Ability to lift 10-20 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds periodically.
• Normal vision (with or without corrective lenses) is required for this position.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, and you will be assigned to a specific shift. Occasional evening and weekend, and or over time work may be required as job duties demand.
